Help me out here guys.  The preface and chapter one are viewable on my site if you have any questions.  The entire book, other than the intro, is through the eyes and ears of my main character so I don’t want to have the intro as just chapter one – it just wouldn’t make sense to me.

Just updated my site yesterday with the new intro to SMW.  Check it out and tell me what you think.

Just did a rewrite of the first third of Spring Meets Winter.  I will have the modifications up on my web page as soon as I hear back from my proofers.

I also just got a query letter back on the older version of SMW - very nicely put, but bad news.  Now I am glad that I did the rewrite.  New submissions will be going out soon.  Wish me luck!

In mid-March I had given out drafts to six readers who found some of the most entertaining errors imaginable – someday I might go into details about this.  Anyhow, I didn’t realize at the time exactly how much paper work that would result in when the drafts came back and, after having weeks of chapped hands and papercuts, I don’t know if I will go through the same process again.  Last night was the first time in six weeks that I didn’t have a stack of edits to do on SMW.  Yeah!

I have already received the first thirteen chapters back from my proofreaders and am in the process of sending the last ten to them.  Once I hear back from my proofreader I will submit the book for copyright and get some excerpts on the web site.  I hope to have it up soon.
