It’s time for my weekly post on Character Development and Introduction, but I’m not going to do one this week. Instead I will be piggy backing off of a friend’s post, Roh Morgan’s “Characters Who Impact.” Instead of working with your own characters, Roh is asking you to step back to acknowledge characters who have had an impact on you. One great part about this post is, if you participate, you can win prizes, and who doesn’t like winning prizes? So venture over to her site/contest and jump in.

News and Dates
Okay, okay. Either my life is really interesting right now, or really boring. Your call.Sometimes silence is the hardest lie of them all
Ever had something that you need to say, something that by simply not saying you are living a lie? Ever had to tell someone something so badly that you thought it would tear you apart if you didn't, but you were afraid of what they would think? You saw something, heard something, felt something, thought something, believed something, or chose something that you wanted to share, but sharing is difficult by the boundaries that you have put around yourself. That is what it is like to be a beginning writer, a writer who doesn't share their work, or an unpublished writer. You have something to tell the world, you look forward to and fear the world's reactions, and you have no outlet but to suffer in silence, living a lie. The world should know you, what you think, what you believe…
Live the lie no longer.
